Configuring Domain Wide Send/ Receive Restrictions

As a new functionality introduced beginning with the 6.2.x AXIGEN release, the administrator can define special Send/ Receive Restrictions that are applicable on a domain wide basis. Distinct of normal SMTP policies, these rules are not configured via smtpFilters.script rules but are part of the domain internal specifications based on the domainCoreConfig.cfg rules.

Access to these settings are available by accessing from the WebAdmin interface -> Domains & Accounts -> Manage Domains -> EDIT on the corresponding domain -> Account defaults -> Send/ Receive Restrictions context. The restrictions support distinct policies for both sending and receiving rules available in the following actions:

• Disallow all domains
• Allow all domains
• Allow only local domain
• Allow only local domain and subdomains

All rules accept specific exceptions by selecting Add Exception tab
