How Does Email Retransmission Occur in Axigen

How email retransmission occurs in Axigen.

Solution

Default data regarding the retransmission process in AXIGEN can be accessed from WebAdmin -> Queue context -> Processing. Under the
Email Delivery section three attributes control the retransmission process for e-mails:
 - maximum number of retries (default: 20)
 - first delivery retry timeout (default: 5m)
 - maximum retry timeout data (default: 8h).

These default settings will ensure that the delivery of an e-mail will be retried for 20 times with the retry timeout between 5m-8h, timeout that will be doubled for each new delivery attempt. With these settings the maximum retransmission period for an e-mail will be equal to 6 days. If this setup does not match existing criteria you can further implement the needed settings on these attributes.

If you need to reschedule certain or all e-mails found in the AXIGEN queue for retransmission immediately, you can access from WebAdmin -> Queue -> the  View Queue context and select the corresponding e-mail(s) -> click on the Retry Now button. Additional actions such as Delete or Send NDR are also available in this context
Rescheduling for retransmission all e-mails existing in the queue is also possible via the Force Queue button.
