How to Access Axigen's Domain Contacts Using Mozilla Thunderbird Using the Sync Kolab Add-on

Sync Kolab add-on is freely available via the add-ons page reserved for the Mozilla Thunderbird project.

For this article we will use example.org as our local organization with the account user1@example.org.

1. Subscribe to “~Public Folders Domain Contacts”





2. Open the Address Book
3. In the Address Book window select File → New → Address Book
4. Set a name for the new address book, for example "Domain Contacts"



5. Open Sync Kolab Preferences (Tools → Add-ons → Extensions → Sync Kolab → Preferences)



6. Select the "Contacts" item corresponding to your Axigen account
7. Click "New"
8. Set Display Name to domain_contacts



9. Select the newly created "domain_contacts" item
10. In the "Address Book" drop-down list select "Domain Contacts"
11. Set the Contact Folder to ~Public foldersDomain Contacts
12. Click "Ok"



13. Go back to Address Book and from Tools → select “Start SyncKolab” and  the synchronization proccess will start.



14. Now user1@example.org has access to Domain Contacts.
