This article explains the steps required to set the general log level at its maximum value.
Solution
The server overall log level is set in a log rule that overrides any higher level settings (per service settings). If you set the maximum log level for the IMAP service and the general log level is limited only to Warning Messages, the general rule will be applied.
- Log into the WebAdmin as admin
- Go to the Logging → Log Collection Rules context
- Edit the rule settings for the log file you are using — by default Axigen uses everything.txt
- In the Logging section, make sure Protocol Communication is selected
- Click the Save Configuration button.
