For some reason the Axigen Mail service stops immediately. It doesn’t seem to produce any errors. Does anyone know how to diagnose this?

You may find more information in system mail log available depending on your operating system in:
/var/log/maillog or /var/log/mail
or using journalctl utility:
journalctl -t Axigen
