Emails not working outside of the Axigen system

Hi,
I am using a created ‘no-ip’ host name .ddns.net and am able to ping it outside and inside my phone’s network. I have succesfully added my Axigen server’s email addresses to my phone’s email client, so all my Axigen server SSL ports, firewall exceptions are correctly configured. I have added a 3 in front of 993 and 465 port numbers o my ISP shouldn’t be aware I am using my own email server.

The issue I am experiencing is that my server does not receive any emails from other email servers and emails that are sent from my server are not received by other email servers. I am able to send emails back and forth using only my server’s emails addresses listed on my server account.

I can see my queue with a list of attempted sends from my server’s email addresses but no list of the other email server addresses sent to my server’s email addresses. They are marked as’send failiure’.

It’s like my ISP is blocking anything to and from my Axigen email server.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Julian.

Hello @jcinternetstuff

Can you check if you have connectivity on port 25 from your server to a test server and also from internet to your server.

You may use telnet to run the connectivity test:

telnet <HOST/IP> 25

Regards,
Florin

Silly me, I was not using the correct port numbers that other ISPs use port 25 and 143.

Thanks.

Julian

I spoke to soon. This seemed to work but now my interner IP is getting added to the Abusix website.
