Setting Up Axigen Clustering

Axigen Documentation

An Axigen server can be set to run in one of the following modes:

  • Standalone – the server is not part of a cluster or is using the obsolete clustering execution mode;

  • Frontend – the server acts as a frontend, with proxy services enabled;

  • Backend – the server acts as a backend, with proxy services disabled.

The cluster key represents an identification string used to identify members of the same cluster. This key must be set to the same value on all servers in a cluster.

The frontend addresses list contains the listeners of the CLI service for all frontend servers in the cluster.

The backend addresses list contains the listeners of the CLI service for all backend servers in the cluster.
